OLM Group announces partnership with Wolverhampton City Council to help deliver its business transformation programme Tuesday 10 April 2007 PDF Print OLM Group, the UK's largest independent supplier of information solutions for children's and adult services, has signed an eighteen month partnership agreement with Wolverhampton City Council (WCC) to deliver a transformational programme across its Adult & Communities (A&C) and Children and Young People’s (CYP) social care departments. The agreement encompasses the delivery of software products and consultancy services including a full-time, eight person strong delivery team. It will provide over 1000 WCC staff with the necessary facilities to store, analyse, gather and share information efficiently and effectively. The implementation of CareFirst, OLM’s leading case management solution, will underpin the transformation of social care across WCC’s A&C and CYP Departments. CareXchange, OLM’s multi-agency integration framework will connect five core systems across WCC including Education, Health and Youth Offending while other OLM modules will support specific aspects of service delivery such as mobile working. OLM will provide consultancy services to ensure that all business processes, the new service delivery model and the management of projects will result in more efficient ways of working. Richard Carr, Chief Executive of Wolverhampton City Council, explained: “Finding the right solution was an essential next step in our transformation strategy. After a thorough selection process, it was clear that OLM would offer us the necessary services and support, along with a strong and flexible system to provide greater efficiencies to our front line services and the general public. This initiative forms a key part of our modernisation agenda and will allow us to significantly improve the services we can provide to our service users.“ Fraser McCluskey, Business Development Director, OLM commented: “The breadth of our system integration experience across social care has best positioned us to support WCC’s business objectives. We are confident that our solution will assist WCC in responding to changing service needs, and driving greater performance and efficiency.” ~ends~ About OLM Group OLM Group is the UK's largest independent supplier of information solutions for children's and adult services.
