Steve (31) had always suffered with his weight and over the years had tried every diet available. He was losing his battle and was about to hit the 18 stone mark. His Grandfather was ill, all his family were over weight and he was worried about health.

He decided to try The Healthier Weight loss programme as its strict method of combining supplied gourmet meals, with weekly seminars and walking 10,000 steps a day had amazing weight loss results. For six months he travelled from Swindon to Birmingham every week to attend the weekly classes and he followed the programme very carefully. He lost 7 stones and went from 18 stones to 10 stones 13lbs. The key to his success has been the behavioural training on the programme which has taught him new ways of planning his eating patterns.

In July 2006 Steve took up running, which was incredible as 12 months earlier he could hardly make it up the stairs. He needed a goal and when his Grandfather died in December 2006 he decided to run the London Marathon and raise money for St. Johns Ambulance.
