New USA Head of Sales Appointed

Warrington, 25th April 2007 - Martin Dawes Systems, a provider of advanced billing and CRM solutions for the telecommunications sector, is seeking to grow its North American business with the creation of a new sales function in its Boston office. The company is demonstrating its latest solutions on stand 116 at this year’s Billing and OSS World in Chicago.

The US sales effort will be led by Jeff Fraser who is the company’s new US director of business development. Fraser brings to the role an in-depth knowledge of the US billing support systems marketplace based on his previous role as vice president, sales & marketing for Virtual Back Office Software (VBOS), a Boston-based billing software company servicing telecom carriers.

He will be focusing on new business opportunities for the company’s award-winning subscriber management platform, dise3G, and its Mobile Virtual Network Enabler services amongst other solutions. Martin Dawes Systems is also in the process of developing product demonstration and data centre facilities in the USA.

Commenting on his new role Jeff Fraser said: “Martin Dawes Systems intends to translate its success in working with major UK and European service providers on customer management and MVNE solutions into the US market. We are ideally placed to help answer the challenges and opportunities facing US service providers of all kinds.”

The company is already engaged with a number of carriers and MVNOs in the region with a number of announcements imminent.

Martin Dawes Systems works with key European operators including BT, Vodafone, O2 (part of Telefonica) and Orange France. In 2006 the company won the IIR World Billing Awards for Best Billing Implementation at BT Mobile, an MVNO targeting UK consumers and business customers.
