London/Cambridge – 11 May 2007 – BroadGroup Tariff Services has announced the 2nd Annual Mobile Pricing Symposium, taking place in Robinson College Cambridge, 18-20 July 2007 (

Subtitled Pricing and Marketing for Success, the symposium is to be provided by experts in mobile telecommunication pricing and marketing. The course is residential at the college, located within a short walking distance of Cambridge town centre.

In an enhanced programme, an exceptional international speaker academy will provide in depth assessments of tariffing, pricing and marketing practice in the mobile markets, in what is the only residential pricing course available today, including:

The symposium features an overview of “pricing in action” which will detail an array of mobile tariffs, price elasticity and tariff modelling workshop, an assessment of cost and value pricing, mobile interconnect, new pricing models for content, creating price advantage through mobile customer segmentation, mobile pricing and regulation, and will examine the relationship between mobile pricing and marketing. Executives at the symposium will also obtain practical experience as they form syndicates and asked to make a series of pricing and marketing decisions for an operator company based on the case study provided.

Designed for pricing, tariffing and marketing executives in mobile operating companies, the symposium is a unique opportunity to reflect on pricing and marketing methodologies to enhance business skills and increase pricing insight.

Located in the relaxed setting of Robinson College Cambridge, executives registering for the residential course may opt for accommodation in the college. In addition, the attendees will also be invited to networking events to maximise the opportunity of visiting the historic university town.
