Email Reaction to enable clients to send CertifiedEmail, recognised by major UK ISPs as a trusted class of email that ensures the delivery of verified email messages to the inbox

London, UK – 17 May 2007 – Email Reaction, a leader in enabling online customer communications, is partnering with Goodmail to enable Email Reaction clients to send CertifiedEmail, a premium class of trusted email.

With this implementation, Email Reaction customers whose low complaint rates qualify them for this class of email will be able to send messages that have an encrypted token attached that verifies that the message is being sent from a legitimate volume email sender. Mailbox providers who partner with Goodmail check for the presence of the token, and route certified emails to the inbox, bypassing any spam or content filters which might otherwise mis-classify the messages as spam. CertifiedEmail is presented to email users with a unique blue-ribbon envelope icon indicating its trusted status, which helps to protect customers from email scams such as phishing, where fraudsters attempt to pass themselves off as legitimate retailers or financial institutions. Links and images are also fully rendered.

Open and clickthrough rates are higher for CertifiedEmail because messages are delivered straight to the inbox, displayed with the creative content intact, and can be clearly identified as trustworthy.

CertifiedEmail has been available in North America since May 2006 and launched in the UK in mid-May with several industry partners, including Email Reaction To date, AOL, Yahoo! and BT are the ISPs that accept CertifiedEmail in the UK.
