Gotham New Media, creators of the KAZ Learn To Type in 90 Minutes Typing Tutor, are making their online accelerated typing tutor free for schools, colleges and universities for up to 100 students.

Gotham were inspired by the Open University to provide free typing training to help more children enjoy using computers, save them time and get this essential skill for life.

"Millions of kids are handicapped typing with 2 fingers, making errors and having to focus on the keyboard instead of creative writing. Typing is not on the school curriculum, school budgets are tight and traditional learning methods are long and boring. All kids need is a helping hand and we are on a mission to help at least 1m of them" said KAZ’s creator Mark Meakings.

The KAZ OpenLearning schools scheme has already provided over 5,000 free kids training places in its first week. We are told this free service is subject to availability and you’ll have to move quickly if you want it for your school.

You can get a free trial first if you want.

Just go the website and click on ‘Education’ to get going.

An agreement has been reached to provide KAZ OpenLearning to schools in Africa with more to follow.
