Bell Micro Europe has picked up Fujitsu Europe’s top distribution award for sales of the company’s mobile disk drives. The award was presented by Otto Hinteregger, Managing Director, Fujitsu Storage Products Europe, at Fujitsu’s Champions Club in Crete on 19 May 2007 and was collected on Bell Micro’s behalf by Johanna Lindholm, HDD Product Manager at Bell Micro.

Bell Micro’s long standing relationship with Fujitsu and the distributor’s own European wide expansion helped Fujitsu grow their mobile drive market share significantly across Europe last year. “I am delighted to be able to reward Bell Micro with our No1 Distributor Award for Sales of Mobile Drives in 2006,” said Otto Hinteregger. “Their contribution to our growth has been excellent and their focus on our mobile products was outstanding.”

“All our European team are delighted that we have been recognised by Fujitsu for the work we have done,“ commented Paul Mehl, Director of Disk Drives and Components, Bell Micro Europe. “Our investment in our disk drive business has led to significant growth across Europe and this growth is continuing in 2007.”
