The Perfect Win continues at Royal Windsor Racecourse

Frankie Dettori’s winning-mode continues with his latest perfect win at Royal Windsor Racecourse – Frankie won the 8.30pm Scott Wilson Maiden Stakes riding Moon Quest owned by Godolphin last night. This is Dettori’s third win in three days following the Derby on Saturday and the Prix du Jockey-Club in Chantilly, France on Sunday.

Celebrating his win with his usual flying dismount, Dettori sprayed Windsor’s Monday Night Racing crowd with champagne and said: ”Even after winning the Derby it was important for me to make it back to Windsor for the Monday Night Racing. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world and couldn’t wait to get back to Windsor and win again.”

A regular at Royal Windsor Racecourse’s popular Monday Night Racing fixtures Dettori started the evening by entertaining the 6,000 strong crowd by running through the evening’s card giving tips on the races he wasn’t riding in to wild applause.

Lucy Dickson, Commercial Manager at Royal Windsor Racecourse said, “Frankie Dettori is always great fun and we’re delighted to see him continue his amazing winning streak with us. He is at the peak of his game and always a pleasure to watch as well as being one of the nicest celebrities in flat racing today. We look forward to seeing him win again at our other Monday Night Racing fixtures this summer.”
