The 18th annual BCA British & International Championships at Telford International Centre will be welcoming 3,267 entrants from 244 teams, 27-29 July, highlighting the growing popularity of Europe's largest cheerleading event. Teams are coming from as far as Ontario Canada.

The British & International Championships moves to Telford to accommodate continued growth. An ideal venue with the capacity and facilities to further develop the championships. Just off junction 4 on the M54, there is ample car parking. Teams are staying at 14 local hotels, booked through a central booking number.

Nothing else this side of the Atlantic remotely approaches the scale and support of this unique championships, where daily attendances topped 4,600 last year. Exciting non stop athletic action, more than 400 competitive routines are scheduled over the three days.

Over 200 trophies up to 1 metre tall will be presented. Every competitor receives a championships T shirt and embroidered badge, plus gifts for coaches.

The panel of Judges will include leading representative from the top US cheerleading organisations: Ryan Arrington - C.O.A, Jen Simonsen - Cheer Ltd, Liz Rossetti - Americheer, Braxton Kinser - CTC/American Championships, Megan Matheney - Americheer, Shelly Smith - Cheer Ltd, Anne Gorman - NCSSE, and Denise Buzzinoti. Winning teams will receive Bids to compete at major championships in America.

Our aim is to make performers feel like Stars in front of the most appreciative audience you could ever wish for, with as many as possible going home with an award to be proud of. Cheerleading is a rapidly rising indoor spectator sport. Even BCA Regional events have attendances of more than 3,000.

The British Cheerleading Association is a registered non profit organisation, founded in 1984, with almost 400 member clubs comprising more than fourteen thousand participants. Cheerleading is a competitive athletic discipline with at least 43 nations involved.
