The new Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) restaurant in Spinningfields, Manchester is proof that burgers can be sophisticated, exotic and deliciously tasty and, when served in a stunningly modern interior, create an indulgent and fun dining experience.

The wide selection of generously proportioned burgers are made with the finest ingredients, such as 100% Aberdeen-Angus Scotch beef and the freshest sour dough sesame seed bun.

The flavoursome hand made sauces are created daily in house – garlic mayo, blue cheese, satay, chilli, barbecue, sour cream and smoked chilli mayo. They taste amazing as part of a gourmet burger recipe or can be enjoyed with chunky GBK fries for a full on flavour hit.

There are great burger options for vegetarians too, thanks to the Summer Veggie Stack of chargrilled vegetables, sun dried tomato and feta pesto with rocket plus the Portabella, made with chunky mushrooms and sweet red peppers.

The idea for GBK originated in New Zealand and the renowned chef Peter Gordon helps develop the menu, including the famous Kiwiburger, a must for the burger connoisseur. The vibe is relaxed and laid back. Look through the menu, order at the counter and then sit back and relax while the chef creates your gourmet burger. The Kiwi theme extends to two premium beers (Steinlager and Mac’s Gold) as well as a couple of fantastic wines which compliment the rest of the wine menu.

Gordon Mooney, who manages the new GBK restaurant in Spinningfields said, “Opening in Manchester is our most exciting development to date. In anticipation of the strong appeal of gourmet burgers, an additional GBK restaurant will open in Wilmslow at the end of July.
