The new business market is currently extremely buoyant if the experience of– the agency search and selection service – is anything to go by.

Agencyplaza’s search generation campaign - a combination of e-marketing, PR and telemarketing, which has been in operation since the beginning of July, has uncovered six major agency reviews in the last week alone including:

• The procurement department of a major food manufacturer reviewing its below-the-line roster
• A global insurance company reviewing its advertising requirements
• A well known food manufacturer looking for an agency to deliver design, press advertising and SP
• Another well known food manufacturer looking for a PR agency at the end of the year
• A private health insurer looking for a digital agency
• A confectionery company carrying out an annual review at the end of the year

This is on top of searches that are already being conducted for clients. These include a brand development agency for a significant telecoms company and an annual review of all agencies in September for a major tourist attraction.

Pete Burgess, MD of Agencyplaza, commented “We have been fine-tuning our search generation activity over the past few months and it would appear that we now have the balance just right as we are uncovering new opportunities almost on a daily basis.” He concluded “clients are responding very well to the concept of a free service which makes their lives easier – unsurprisingly perhaps – all of which augurs well for our subscribing agencies” is a confidential service that enables clients to compile the best qualified pitch list for their business quickly, easily and free of charge.
