Steve Coussins, Retail Supply Chain industry heavyweight to join Inovis

ATLANTA/LONDON (August 16, 2007) – Inovis, a leading provider of on-demand business community management solutions, has appointed Steve Coussins to consult on strategy formulation and to chair an outside customer advisory board that will be formed for the UK and European markets. Mr. Coussins’ contacts and reputation in the industry will be instrumental in recruiting and leading this advisory committee. This strategy will include helping Inovis to leverage its recent acquisition of Freeway Commerce and to gain a significant foothold in the UK Retail supply chain sector from which to launch a series of new products and services.

Before joining Inovis Mr Coussins was Chief Executive of GS1 UK, an industry body with over 19,000 UK based members for six years. GS1 UK is the UK authority for the GS1 System, a global suite of supply chain standards used by over a million companies in 140 countries. The GS1 System encompasses data and technology standards for barcodes, radio frequency identification (RFID), EDI and data synchronisation. Before his tenure at GS1 UK, Mr Coussins was Managing Director of Harbinger UK (the forerunner to Inovis UK), which he joined following the take over of EISL, a company that he had formed in 1992. EISL specialised in the integration of EDI services with ERP and other back office applications. Harbinger UK

On his decision to join Inovis Steve Coussins commented: “Now is a very exciting time for Inovis. With my experience working for the industry body dealing with retail supply chain data, I feel a close affinity to the areas in which Inovis works. I know the people at Inovis, I know many of their customers, and I am delighted to have this opportunity to add some value in the development of the business.”

John Redfern, managing director of Inovis UK said: “We are keen to welcome Steve on board. His industry knowledge, contacts and experience will help significantly with the integration of Inovis and Freeway Commerce and our planned expansion into new market sectors.
