Over the last year Jamie has been getting his hands dirty at home ‘cos he’s really got into gardening and cooking up home grown produce. So “Jamie at home” is all about getting down and dirty with nature, growing and cooking your very own fruit, veg and herbs.

Furthermore as consumers we are all being encouraged to go back to basics, stop eating convenience food and cook for ourselves. But what do we use to cook these delicious recipes in?

Jamie Oliver’s and Royal Worcester’s new range of oven to cook and tableware is great for cooking and serving lovely home-cooked meals. Special attention has been paid to the shapes of the cookware items to ensure the ingredients for your favourite recipe develop during the cooking process to make them even more mouth watering and tasty. They look great too, so you can bring them straight from the oven to the centre of the table for family and friends to help themselves. This rustic range really lends itself to the type of home cooking that Jamie’s been exploring.

“Jamie At Home” is made from durable stoneware which is safe for use in the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher, while the charcoal and cream finish makes certain it will look great whatever the setting or occasion.

Items in the range include:-

A soup pot (RRP £45) - a proper old-fashioned soup pot with a domed lid and easy-grip handles. It can go in the oven for quick or slow-cooked soups or stews and it’s deep enough for eight generous portions.

A soufflé dish (RRP £10) - the perfect size and shape for oven-baked soufflés, whether making a cheesy one for lunch or a chocolate one for pudding.

The big bowl (RRP £22) - a very useful piece of kit to have in your kitchen. It’s great for mixing cakes, making pasta or bread, and it’s the perfect size for a summer pudding.

The big stew pot (RRP £40) - perfect for slow-cooked stews and casseroles as the rounded sides give you loads more room. It also has easy-grip handles and a slightly narrow neck which helps to keep stews moist and juicy so they won’t boil away!

A terrine dish (RRP £30) - traditionally used to make all kinds of pâté. The tight-fitting lid stops the recipe from drying out while it has a little hole to let any steam out. It’s also great for making small loaves of home-made bread or lovely meat loaf.

The ramekins (RRP £8.50 for a set of 2) - the perfect size for serving individual savoury dishes like pâtés or potted shrimps, or desserts like crème brûlée or chocolate mousse.

A gratin dish (RRP £18)- perfect for cheesy potatoes and crumbles and lasagne. It’s also brilliant for serving roast potatoes or vegetables.

The pie dish (RRP £25) – the answer for all kinds of pie, from good old steak and kidney to apple and blackberry. The traditional ‘pie bird’ helps steam escape from the inside of the pie, keeping your pastry crisp and light as a feather.

A squeezer and bowl (RRP £20) – just what you need for squeezing juice from all kinds of citrus fruit, then simply add your oil, seasoning and other ingredients to the bowl below to make the perfect salad dressing.

Then there’s the tableware, which has been designed to complement the cookware perfectly:- plates (2 sizes), pasta and breakfast bowls and the very essential mug. All are available in sets of 4, while the 16 piece starter set includes 4 each of the plates (2 sizes), breakfast bowls and mugs RRP £108.
