Richard Dutton has joined leading IT Consultancy, Bluefish, to head-up its Managed Services Division. As a highly experienced IT Services Director and Consultant, Dutton has worked for a number of leading IT and telecoms companies, including nextiraOne and Dimension Data.

In his new role at Bluefish, Dutton will be utilising his experience and expertise in Managed Services to define the IT Consultancy’s proposition in the MSP space and to rapidly grow its business base.

Bluefish’s Managed Services offering is aimed at companies and organisations that require experienced IT consultants to manage effective ICT service delivery across their enterprise, quickly and efficiently. Set up by founder members Brian Birtles, Philip Howarth and Lyndon Knight in 2004, Bluefish provides tailor-made IT solutions using a team of highly experienced consultants for a wide-range of leading organisations in the commercial and public sector.

“Managing services within a large organisation can be a resource-consuming role, so Bluefish is able to offer a focal point for these requirements,” says Richard Dutton. “Many Managed Services offerings work on a maintenance model which doesn’t add any value. We offer specific expertise and help from a highly experienced team of IT engineers and consultants. Our strength is the quality of people that we can call upon to solve client problems and the flexibility we offer in having the right people available.”

Bluefish is a leading, independent IT professional services company. Bluefish enables its clients to manage the IT lifecycle – ranging from cost-effective solutions; to the design and delivery of entire technology projects; and managed services for overseeing complex technical issues, risk or resourcing pressures.
