Cobham, 12 September 2007 – People Vision, the specialist in human resources, learning and development, has launched a new recruitment service. People Vision Careers will initially concentrate on placing exceptional people in human resources roles, enabling clients to take advantage of the skills and extensive experience of People Vision’s team in recruitment and talent management.

The new service will be headed up by Keith Corbin, author of the Career Transition Pocket Book, who has nearly thirty years’ experience in all aspects of human resource management in both the public and private sectors. Keith is joined by members of the People Vision team, all of whom have been employed in human resources and learning and development arenas for many years.

Alyson Pellowe, Managing Director of People Vision says: “It was a logical step for us to expand our services into recruitment and talent management. Our team has really excellent insider knowledge of the human resources business, and we can now use that knowledge to find the right individuals for organisations and match professional practitioners with their perfect role.”

Jane Smith, Learning and Development Manager at Cyril Sweett, has used People Vision Careers to assist with recruitment. She said, “People Vision Careers gave an exceptional service. The team’s project management skills left me free to focus on my day job, while the regular updates I received meant that I was always involved and well informed. I found the online job analysis assessment tool that People Vision used particularly useful. Keith was able to understand exactly what we needed in a candidate and found us a new team member who exceeded our expectations. I would definitely work with them again and would certainly recommend their service to others.”

People Vision Careers finds people using proactive head-hunters, as well as more reactive advertising on carefully selected sites. The company project manages each assignment to a timeline that suits the client concerned. It takes the time to investigate both the market and the role thoroughly so that the organisation and the individual have the right information on which to base a decision. People Vision Careers also provides regular progress reports that enable clients to monitor performance.

Jane Wells, Office Manager at E A Shaw was a candidate placed by People Vision Careers. She said, “I have worked with recruitment consultants in the past and have never felt they truly understood my skills and needs. The People Vision team couldn’t be more different. They took the time to find out about my abilities and what I could bring to a company, and matched that perfectly with the role E A Shaw needed to fill. I am very happy with the move I made and consider it to be a perfect recruitment success story.”

Pellowe says, “Our ethos is to work with clients, not just for them. That means we regard all assignments as a partnership that we hope to maintain in the long term. It’s about solid working relationships that add value rather than focusing on quick-win fixes. We believe that our in-depth research, our personal experience in the field and our project management-based approach genuinely make us different and result in an exceptionally high success rate.”
