Silverjet announces new route to Dubai

Private Terminals, 30 minute check in, 100 flat beds, £1,099 return

Award-winning British business class airline Silverjet today announced it will begin flying from London to Dubai from November this year - the first business class only airline to launch a non transatlantic service and the first commercial carrier in the world to offer a private terminal experience at both ends of the journey.

Arriving into Dubai’s Private Executive Terminal, used by dignitaries, Prime Ministers and Royalty from around the world, Silverjet customers will experience the very best in luxury. By being the first commercial airline in the world to secure access to this terminal, customers can look forward to a private terminal at both the start and end of their journey. Just like their New York offering, Silverjet will take care of any transportation needs to and from the terminal, with additional services available such as chauffer-driven cars, valet parking or complimentary station pick-up.

Recently compared to New York and Paris as “the hottest shopping destination in the world”, Dubai is a world renowned hub for business and pleasure. With over 50 shopping malls, countless markets and tax free prices, Dubai has rapidly established itself as a shopper’s paradise.

With a daily average of nine hours of sun, hotels that pride themselves on the very best service and a buzzing nightlife, Dubai has become a hot spot for the rich and famous with Brad Pitt, Prince William, Justin Timberlake and Victoria Beckham all spotted shopping for the latest designs.

This year’s Dubai Shopping Festival (from December 20th to February 2nd 2008) will see designer names -including Gucci, Hermes, Valentino and Fendi – selling at a fraction of the UK price. With up to 80% off, Dubai is everyone’s dream ticket to luxury – in all senses of the word.

Lawrence Hunt, CEO of Silverjet, commented: “We are delighted to be launching this business class-only flight to Dubai, giving our customers the opportunity to the fly in complete style from just £1,099 return. All aspects of the Silverjet service have been meticulously planned such as the optimum on board sleeping environment, breakfasts ‘on-the-go’ and late lie-in’s so our passengers can look forward to arriving feeling totally relaxed, refreshed and ready to enjoy the many attractions of this fantastic city.”

Silverjet continues to excel in the world of luxury travel, offering a hassle-free private jet experience. On arrival or departure in Dubai, customers can enjoy exclusive access to a 5,000 square foot Executive Terminal with boasts luxurious facilities such as chair side check-in. What’s more the terminal also allows Silverjet to be able to offer the dedicated security and 30 minute check-in[2] that the airline is renowned for. Once on board, 102 6’3” flat beds, a ‘sleeper service’ for overnight flights, specially designed menus and a separate ladies loo will make sure their flight is as unforgettable as the destination itself. As to be expected from this innovative airline, customers can check-in via the web, choose their seat online and pre-order a range of made-to-order meals.

The airline will take bookings from today, with the first flight on sale for the 18th November. Prices start at £1,099 return including taxes and a saver fare of £999 including taxes will be available for flights departing between November 18th and December 18th 2007.
