CRM-VoIP integration IP handset allows software organization to improve sales effort

SAN FRANCISCO – Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference - September 17, 2007 – Camrivox today announced that Jobscience, Inc. has deployed the Camrivox Flexor 500 VoIP handset throughout the company due its ability to link their hosted VoIP telephony service to Salesforce.

By unifying their telephony platform with Salesforce using the Camrivox Flexor 500 solution, Jobscience was able to increase activity, focus resources and report more accurately on its sales team’s efforts.

Built on the Force.com platform, the Camrivox Flexor 500 for AppExchange is immediately available for test drive and deployment at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange. The announcement was made today at Dreamforce ‘07, Salesforce.com’s User and Developer Conference.

The intelligence that resides at the centre of the Flexor 500 VoIP handset allows it to work with any IP PBX platform, which was an immediate benefit to Jobscience. The company was not tied to a proprietary telephony solution and could opt for the one that best suited the business.

“We have developed a suite of applications – built on Force.com – which underpin our staffing solutions for the healthcare industry,” said Ted Elliot, CEO of Jobscience. “As Salesforce users and developers it was important that our telephony service worked with Salesforce. The Flexor 500 proved to be the missing link enabling us to unify our telephone service and our sales teams across the country via salesforce.com’s AppExchange, giving us the tools to better manage and monitor.”

Malcolm Wood, CEO of Camrivox commented “Salesforce users will know how important management of processes is across the business. What we have done is to open this even further by allowing any IP telephony service to link with Salesforce. Seeing how Jobscience has unified their applications, sales teams and Salesforce has been tremendously exciting.”
