Unwired, the knowledge brand of Cordless Group, has announced the programme for Worktech07. Worktech07 takes place on the 13th of November at the British Library in London. A series of parallel masterclasses will be held on the 12th of November at the same venue.

At Worktech07 leading Global speakers from the worlds of technology, architecture, design and work will come together to offer a unique insight into the way technology is shaping and immersing itself in every aspect of our lives and explore the opportunities and challenges this creates. Speakers confirmed for Worktech include:

• Jerry Fishenden, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft who will look at ‘Immersive Technology and the Future of Work’

• John Bell of the University of Canterbury on ‘The Architecture of Visual Environments’

• Ken Shuttleworth, founder of architects Make on ‘The Future of the City’

• Melanie Howard, co-founder of The Future Foundation

Commenting, Cordless Group founder Philip Ross said: ‘Immersive technology is having a profound impact on the way we work and on the places in which we work. But still too many knowledge workers struggle with outdated physical environments, organisational structures and working practices. What makes Worktech so exciting is the opportunity for delegates to explore these ideas alongside some of the world’s most eminent thinkers on these topics and also to learn about next generation technologies that will herald the next wave of change.’
