Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Royal Bank of Scotland and Milbank to sponsor

London, 17 October 2007 – TelecomFinance and BroadGroup are delighted to announce Telecom Finance 2008, the global conference and networking event, which will be held at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, London, January 23-25 2008.

Now in its third year, the annual flagship conference will sustain its lead as the largest networking event for decision makers and professional service companies in TMT finance and is on course to produce another content and target rich forum extending over three days, which includes the 2nd Emerging Markets Summit and the annual Awards Ceremony.

Set against a backdrop of constrained credit markets, resurgent strategic M&A, telcos poised make significant moves, sustained interest in emerging markets and regulatory and technological opportunities in mature markets, Telecom Finance 2008 aims to be more relevant than ever.

Reflecting its importance as the networking hub of the TMT sector, this year’s event has already won the backing of leading sponsors including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Royal Bank of Scotland and US law firm, Milbank.

The Emerging Markets Summit on January 23 will this year focus on the Middle East and Africa, Latin American markets and Eastern and Central Europe.

In addition, the two-day Telecom Finance conference will address where the best telecom investment opportunities are, providing specialist insight into the impact of changing capital markets on deal making and a focus on those technologies and business models that pose the greatest opportunities and threats to wireless and traditional telecom operators. Presentations and panel discussions over the three-day event will be provided by top-level telecom executives, investors and other experts.

The annual Awards Ceremony and Dinner promises to be an exceptional evening, and will again be hosted by a well known celebrity. The awards selection based on TelecomFinance’s League Tables, and insight from a panel of experts will draw international recognition to TMT leadership in firms who have been at the vanguard of telecom deal making in the past year. This year’s awards ceremony will also recognise those institutions most active in the media space.

“Telecom Finance’s unique ability to bring together the key stakeholders in telecom deal-making, a focused Emerging Markets Summit, plus a tremendous Awards Ceremony has set the bench high, and really does mark this out as a must attend event,” said Oliver Cann, managing editor, TelecomFinance.

“As the global networking hub for TMT deal makers, the 2008 event promises to sustain its reputation for delivering the best in insight, the best in content and outstanding networking with peers in the sector,” commented Nicola Hayes, vice president of BroadGroup.
