– ‘out-of-the-box’ Personal URL generator enables all marketers to increase response rates and track effectiveness across any channel –

Intimis today announced the availability of version 3.0 of its powerful, highly integrated and innovative dialogue marketing solution. The major innovation in this build of the Intimis-developed system is the provision of tracking and tools to follow up prospects for any response campaign, to any website across any channel. This is achieved through the use of “Personal URLs (or PURLs) Anywhere” where the Intimis 3.0 system generates PURLs which are appended to a client’s data set and which the marketer can then merge into any campaign, large or small.

Version 3.0 of Intimis is completely web-based and has robust reporting and feedback built-in, giving marketers the ability to dynamically adjust campaigns in real time. The system uses PURLs to manage and monitor a client or prospect’s response and interaction with a campaign, through activity such as website click-throughs, to measure interest levels and qualify the prospect on the fly. PURLs can then be integrated with a client’s existing CRM system, eliminating the need to invest in replacement software and sytems.

A key benefit of the Intimis system is that it enables marketers to best identify and manage the most valuable prospects and match these with the most effective follow-up activity. By using the PURLs concept marketers are able target only those who have demonstrated a clear interest in a campaign and thus they reduce re-solicitation costs dramatically whilst at the same time drive up response rates.

Intimis has been a pioneer in the integrated one to one dialogue marketing arena since the market emerged and has used this experience to develop the world’s first and only solution that has the capacity to deliver such mass individualised communication, across any channel, for any business.

Commenting on the new version of Intimis Kevin Mason, Director of Intimis, said: “Intimis 3.0 delivers a step change in the potential returns from response marketing channels. Our customers have been experiencing as much as a doubling of their response rates in control tests, using the Intimis system. The new Intimis 3.0 PURLs Anywhere tool greatly expands this capability, enabling any business to quickly and easily track and convert warm prospects for any campaign. In particular, we are seeing a re-ignition in the viability of Direct Mail, given the serious increase in returns from relatively small additional resources or budget.”

The adaptability of PURLs has enabled a wide variety of clients to benefit from the system. Intimis client Stephen Yeo, Marketing Director of IGEL Technology, said: “Intimis is helping companies redefine marketing. The combination of one-to-one customisation and personal URLs are unbeatable, especially in the highly legislated European marketing environment. We have found that the use of PURLs gives us double the amount of response compared with traditional “fire and forget” direct marketing. This is because it gives us, for the first time, the ability to see who is responding to our marketing activities without them having to leave their details. This has dramatically reduced our cost per lead and helped us develop one to one relationships with our prospects and customers.”

Andrew Buffrey, Regional Manager of DMA West said: “The west region has an enviable reputation for innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial achievement. This spirit and attitude has resulted in many ground breaking developments in direct marketing. Intimis is an excellent example of this and how west-based organisations are embracing the challenges of an increasingly competitive environment. Their strategic focus has not only revolutionised CRM, it has also addressed some of the key aims of the DMA in terms of achieving better targeting, accountability and best practice in direct marketing."
