Newbury, UK 13 November, 2007 – Skyforce Ltd T/as Action Aerials, the UK’s largest independent installer of TV and radio aerials, has chosen Cognito’s Mobile Workforce Management solution to automate the scheduling and job completion processes of its aerial installations.

With more than 115 engineers around the UK, Action Aerials will be able to automatically allocate engineers to jobs based on their location and the customer requirement. Engineers will be notified of job and customer details in real time, and completed job information will be instantly uploaded back to the office, providing Action Aerials with complete control and visiability of all work in progress.

Parvis Taylor Operations Manager at Action Aerials says, “We have installed aeriels for more than 500,000 customers in the UK incredibly efficiently using a paper-based system. However, we had reached a tipping point where we needed to automate our paper-based processes to satisfy the increased demand for our services. We needed a system that would automate our manual processes for allocating engineers to customer visits and enable customer installation details to be directly entered into our computer system from customer site while the information is still fresh. The Cognito solution will give us more control of our mobile workforce at the same time as creating operating efficiencies that will help us achieve our growth objectives.”
