Technology For Marketing & Advertising, the UK’s only dedicated event delivering digital, data and CRM solutions for marketing, media and advertising professionals, will be offering four free thought-leading keynote speakers over its two day event in February 2008. With such great feedback from the two sessions in 2007, the event has announced it will double the number for 2008.

Danny Meadows-Klue, the web 2.0 keynote speaker from 2007, has been TFM&A’s most popular keynote ever attracting over 400 attendees with even more visitors listening from outside the packed theatre during his session. He has therefore been invited back to continue telling us his thoughts on the future of marketing.

In 2008, Danny will be hosting a session called: ‘Falling in Love 2.0: relationship marketing for the Facebook generation’. Meadows-Klue discusses the shift in thinking about communications with customers and what’s needed to get results for businesses. He explores how audiences have tuned out of many traditional advertising channels and shows why brands have to re-earn the love of their customers, engaging in real two way dialogue. He shows how smart brands – large and small - are connecting themselves to the Facebook generation through social media, social networks and a range of new digital channels.

He tackles why marketing to today’s generation demands understanding new models of how customers buy, and the radically different approaches for what customers want from the companies they trade with. This keynote will help marketers realise how they can get more value from their existing marketing, get the focus in the place customers want to hear from, and target the new digital generation in ways their audiences want to hear.

The session will be supported by an online Q&A afterwards for all delegates on www.digitalstrategyconsulting.com plus attendees will receive free copies of new research about the future of ‘blended’ marketing from Danny’s team at Digital. More than 40,000 people have attended Danny’s talks and training courses and this is a rare chance to join him for free on a public keynote.

Danny Meadows-Klue has been a leading figure in the UK internet industry since the early 90s. He was one of Europe’s first online publishers, launched the Internet Advertising Bureau in the UK and Europe (President and CEO for both for four years) a government adviser and regular columnist, and one of the ‘100 founders’ of the digital industry in the DTI’s awards. Consistently ranked as one of the most influential thinkers in online media and digital marketing, he is the founder of the Digital Strategy Consulting and these days coaches marketing teams around the world in how to get more from their digital channels.

Danny comments, ”The web needs to be at the heart of the marketing mix, not on the sidelines. Savvy digital customers are demanding new relationships with brands, and suddenly marketing is having to change. The channel mix of five years ago just isn’t cutting it, but for the firms that get it right there’s an instant acceleration in their cut-through, impact and sales. That’s what the new generation of relationship marketing is all about.”

With twice the number of keynote speakers for 2008, TFM&A will be announcing three more industry leading lights shortly. Plus, Technology For Marketing & Advertising, also offers all a marketer or advertiser could want in terms of solutions to create a winning marketing strategy, with suppliers, ideas and the latest industry insights covering digital, CRM and data solutions.

The show will be held at Earls Court 2, London on 12th-13th February 2008.
