Says ETS director Dominic Wake, ‘Management skills are at a premium in today’s highly competitive market and managers are being called on more and more to deal with tricky situations against tight deadlines. The test we’ve designed for our site may be entertaining but it also has a serious purpose – to remind managers of the importance of keeping their skills polished, especially in areas like leadership and communications.’

Visitors to the Make Me a Better Manager web site can find out for themselves whether they are a Machiavelli or a Mother Theresa by trying the five not-so-simple questions asked on the Management Quiz page.


About Make Me A Better Manager

Make Me a Better Manager is an innovative web-based service that gives managers feedback from their workmates on their management strengths and weaknesses. Managers nominate their colleagues who are surveyed in confidence by email on a range of management skills, such as communications and leadership. The survey is finished in two weeks or less and costs £20. Managers get a report that tells them how high or low their colleagues scored them on key skills, compares their scores with benchmarks for each skill, and gives tips on how to improve.
