Teleperformance is one of the few companies to have been awarded this certification to the international standard that requires a business to have appropriate safety and security measures covering up to 134 of the control areas which safeguard information and intellectual property assets. Across all areas of business and commerce, there are less than 400 companies in the UK, and only 4,000 worldwide, certified against ISO 27001:2005. Released in 2005 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets are the principal aspects that this international standard addresses.
