Eclipse Internet gains recognition as business ISP with two business ISPA nominations Tuesday 22 January 2008 PDF Print Eclipse Internet’s success as a business ISP has been recognised with the announcement that it has been shortlisted in the Best Business ISP and Best Business Email categories of the 2008 ISPA (Internet Service Provider Association) Awards. The announcement follows three months of independent monitoring during which the speed and reliability of Eclipse’s business broadband service were evaluated. In drawing up the shortlist judges also took into account price, value for money, contract options and the quality and availability of customer and technical support. Anita Pace of Eclipse commented: “Over the last 18 months we have complemented the business-standard broadband access we offer with a range of new services aimed at businesses, including data back-up, hosting services and e-commerce solutions. “We are delighted that our growing reputation as the ISP of choice for businesses has been recognised through our nomination as Best Business ISP.” In 2007, Eclipse won the Best Consumer Broadband ISPA and was a finalist in the Best Business Broadband category. The other finalists in the Best Business ISP category are Claranet, Datanet, Entanet and PlusNet. In the Best Business Email category Eclipse is up against Datanet, Lumison, NewNet and Zen. 2008 award winners will be announced at an event on 14 March 2008 at the Marriott Hotel in London.
