Art and Design Exhibition
By the renowned Italian designer Anna Izzo

Opening at la Galleria Mall Mall, London on the 21 February 2008.

More than 30 paintings and limited edition art designs will be on display till the 30 March.

La Galleria represents Izzo's design worldwide and hopes with this exhibition to sign up distributors for her unique individual designs worldwide.

Anna Izzo's topic is woman both in her paintings and in her furniture. She uses woman as her inspiration to suggest a modern sensual style of living.

Frida the Dormouse chair is in the shape of a woman, available in five colours of resin, the Can Can entrance table is a unique piece of
craftsmanship and design.

Anna Izzo is a well-rounded artist: a painter, sculptress, and designer, she works between Rome and Siena. The recurrent topic of her works is woman with all her feminine elements, objects, and vanity: shoes, legs, bags, and dresses become sculptures in bronze, iron, and resin, or paintings and furnishings. Her work expresses "a feeling of time." It represents, or communicates, the lived experience, "taking it apart" with a curiosity that is never cruel and expressing the metamorphosis of existence in a deeper meta-reality where the imaginary and the images interact with real life. Anna Izzo's work has been exhibited internationally in New York, Amsterdam, London, Moscow, Lugano, Rome, Milan, Naples, Capri, Bari, etc.

Her works are part of public and private collections and have been reviewed by the most important critics of contemporary art and the most important print and television media.
