Launch of Torek goes off without a hitch

London – January 30 2008 - itlab, the UK’s fastest growing SME IT services company, has used its Service Obsession™ to help Music Room provide Disney and Xbox the right technology for the press launch of Torek, an epic new game set on a dark, mysterious planet in the future. Working closely with the Music Room, itlab provided the required bandwidth line as an emergency installation to ensure the event on the 21st November was a huge success.

Above the world famous Grays Antique Market Mayfair, lies the Music Room, one of London’s most exciting exhibition spaces. Comprising of 310 square meters of white walls, parquet flooring, precision black out blinds, integrated Unison Lighting System with DMX capabilities, as well as the latest internet technology, it is ideal for press events and launches. Torek launches to the public in February 2008, it was vital that the press were able to see the new game in action to help build awareness for Disney, Xbox and Torek.

Juan-Carlos Serna, Music Room, explains: “itlab usually assists us with the set up and cabling of all our events. But the press launch of Torek needed some extra support because the existing connection did not have enough bandwidth. However, this was only discovered a few weeks before the event. We called itlab and within a very quick timeframe they had implemented and taken the new line live. As usual itlab were 100% focused, quick and provided great feedback – they are totally service driven.”
