Increased sales of Interact, the intranet solution for Housing Associations, contributes to record growth for leading Intranet provider, Odyssey Interactive Ltd.

Odyssey Interactive Ltd, part of Hasgrove PLC, announced strong results for 2007 with sales 40% ahead of expectations and growth of over 400% in the social housing sector. Odyssey acquired 10 new customers in the sector, including Affinity Sutton, Carr-Gomm, Network Housing and the Origin Group.

Part of this sales growth is attributed to the strength of their Housing Intranet product. Interact has built a solid reputation within the social housing sector due to Odyssey’s ethos of developing simple to use intranet solutions with sophisticated functionality which enables organisations to improve productivity and service delivery as well as provide proven efficiency gains.

There are a number of Intranet products in the market now, however Interact’s success stems from the fact that it provides a solution that is structured to meet the needs of social housing organisations. With Interact secure sections can be created on the intranet such as areas for documents for Audit Commission Inspections, Community Initiatives, Tenant Involvement Action Plans, Regulatory codes etc.

With growth plans, new initiatives and the market demand Odyssey anticipates another strong performance in 2008 and has the vital ingredients in place to manage future growth – solid leadership, top-class talent, financial stability, mature processes and a superior product offering.

In particular, plans are underway to exploit new marketing opportunities in the European market. Working with Interel, another Hasgrove owned company, Odyssey are launching Interact into Europe.
