- Major computing industry companies flock to ApacheCon Europe in Amsterdam to support European Open Source initiatives -

Amsterdam – February 28, 2008 – ApacheCon Europe, the official user conference of The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), has announced that Google, Hewlett Packard, and Hippo are sponsors of ApacheCon Europe 2008, among other major computing vendors.

The event is being produced by Stone Circle Productions and being presented by The Apache Software Foundation, one of the largest and most influential foundations dedicated to Open Source software. Members, innovators, developers, vendors and users are invited to meet, mingle and learn more about emerging technologies, development methodologies and trends.

With ample opportunities to exchange ideas through informal networking, peer discussions, Birds-of-a-Feather sessions and social events, attendees will be able to thoroughly participate throughout the event.
