Online sports video service to offer full range of high quality sports,

SPORTELASIA 2008, Shanghai, PRC. March 3rd, 2008 - ESPN STAR Sports, Asia’s leading sports broadcaster, and Entriq, Inc., the leading provider of digital media control and monetisation solutions across broadband, today announced their collaboration in launching a broadband video service dedicated to offering both live and on-demand sports programming.

Available at www.espnstar.com, ESPN STAR Sports’ broadband video service was most recently used to offer cricket fans across the world live coverage of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under 19 Cricket World Cup, at US$5.99 per match or US$29.99 for a subscription to the entire tournament. This broadband video service was also successfully used to deliver the recent 20/20 Cricket World Cup and the Australia vs India Test Series.

Powered by Entriq’s MediaSphere solution, ESPN STAR Sports will be able to securely manage, deliver and monetise its valuable sports programming across broadband networks on a local, regional and global scale.
