After record year for new business and profit, Hornbill accelerates growth with new senior management structure

Hornbill Systems, a leading supplier of enterprise service desk support software, has appointed a new Client Services Director and created new strategic sales and marketing roles. Doug Pollock joins the company as Client Services Director, Patrick Bolger becomes Chief Marketing Officer and Graham Browne takes on the role of Vice President Sales EMEA. The company has seen an impressive 30% year on year growth rate since its inception in 1995, with 40% increase in revenues in 2007.

As Client Services Director, Doug will oversee all of Hornbill’s daily operations relating to the delivery of services to customers. This will include professional services, education and customer support services. With 22 years’ experience in the IT industry, Doug brings strong commercial and financial experience from a multi-faceted background, having worked in both tactical service delivery and strategic service definition and packaging as well as in project management, team management, sales and business management.

Before joining Hornbill, Doug held a variety of positions across UK, Europe and USA, working in different sectors including, finance, telco, retail and government with companies like Tertio, Siebel, BroadVision and Cambio.

Patrick Bolger, Sales and Marketing Director for Hornbill since 1998, takes on the new role of Chief Marketing Officer, enabling him to focus more on the strategic positioning and development of Hornbill internationally. Patrick heads the company’s marketing function globally, taking overall responsibility for the organisation’s strategic and product marketing activities. Through his involvement and experience in the industry, he helps shape the direction of Hornbill’s Service Management products.

Graham Browne joined Hornbill as Sales Manager in 2003 and is now promoted to VP Sales EMEA. This underlines Graham’s ability to build successful sales teams and now gives him the enlarged territory of EMEA, as Hornbill looks towards wider international markets.
