• Online shop delivers leading edge e-Commerce and optimised order management for German clothes manufacturer
• Customer-focused website provides detailed product descriptions, simplified navigation, newsletters and personalised mail shots

London – 19 June 2008. hybris (www.hybris.com), a leading multi-channel communication and commerce software vendor, is pleased to announce that Trigema (www.trigema.de), one of Germany’s best known clothing manufacturers, has invested in the hybris PIM (Product Information Management) e-Commerce solution at the heart of its new online shop. Web 2.0 functionality and sophisticated e-Commerce processes have enabled the T-shirt and tennis manufacturer to deliver an enhanced online shopping experience for its customers. Implemented by hybris partner, texcelerate solutions (www.texcelerate.com), the highly customer-focused website features detailed product descriptions, simplified navigation, tailored newsletters as well as personalised mail shots and e-vouchers.

Customers are able to access comprehensive descriptions about all collections, specials and articles, complete with all product information (article numbers, size and material details, available colours, delivery times, prices, etc.) from the hybris central product database. Online product presentation is improved with image zooming and the ability to design individual T-shirts, polo shirts and sweat shirts creates a dynamic shopping experience. Customers are also able to place selected articles on a ‘wish list’, forward it by e-mail to friends, or put the entire list straight into their basket.

The simple navigation of men’s, ladies’ and children’s clothing, sports items and specials is further enhanced by the full-text search facility which enables customers to search for items by product name or article number. The use of Rich Media applications and interactive product advisors also enables visitors to call up a red sweatshirt, for example, and then follow the automatic links to matching hipsters and casual trousers to create the perfect outfit.

“Our redesigned online shop provides customers with everything they have come to expect from Trigema: top quality products - ‘Made in Germany’. We are certain that we have made a forward-looking investment,” say Jürgen Gassner and Hanns Bilz, e-commerce managers at Trigema.

The hybris Commerce Suite is responsible for managing the entire content of the online shop. Its sophisticated, integrated content management system was seamlessly incorporated into the existing IT topography and combines all the benefits of standard software: fast set-up time and comprehensive functionality with the high flexibility and extensibility of a classic framework. The pivotal element of the e-commerce platform is the central product data management system that ensures information about Trigema products is always up-to-date and is automatically fed directly into the online shop.

Ariel Lüdi, CEO of the hybris Group: “If you want to maintain a competitive edge in B2C commerce, you have to use PIM-based solutions. Trigema has a reputation for modern and functional sportswear in the textiles industry – we ensure that its products are managed to technical perfection.”
