Gourmet Raw will showcase its raw and living food range, including some innovative new products, at the Natural & Organic Products Europe 2010

--Hot on the heels of a hugely successful launch in November 2009, Gourmet Raw (www.gourmetraw.com) will attend its first exhibition to showcase its convenient, healthy, raw food range--

Gourmet Raw will showcase its raw and living food range, including some innovative new products, at the Natural & Organic Products Europe 2010 (April 11-12 2010, Olympia, London).

Launching nationally at the show, the gluten-free Oracle bar has already proven popular with retailers local to Gourmet Raw’s Glastonbury base, and is set to be a big hit with consumers across the country. Appealing to raw foodies and anyone interested in a natural, organic and healthy snack option that tastes truly indulgent, the Oracle bar is made with goji berries, hemp seeds and other delicious seeds.

A new range of six snack bars (Shiva Shakti; Persian Night; Aloi Jing Jing; Albion Magic; Peruvian Gold; Marrakesh Express), inspired by ingredients from around the globe, is currently being developed by Gourmet Raw with the help of a highly-skilled food alchemist. The ‘Global Harmony’ range will launch after the show, but you are welcome to chat to the team about its development and its lengthy list of unique, organic and raw sweet and savoury ingredients that are bursting with natural life force energy.

The creators of the Gourmet Raw (and founders of The Raw Food School), Andrew and Angela Davis, will be on hand to discuss the rising raw food trend, its influence on the retail and food service sectors across Europe, and to introduce their food range to consumers, journalists and retail buyers. You are invited to visit Gourmet Raw at stand 6002X to sample the range, meet the team and find out more about ‘going raw’.

Pushing the boundaries for on-the-go healthy snacks, Gourmet Raw has been welcomed into the UK retail market with open arms and has received rave reviews in mainstream publications from the Daily Mail to Grazia magazine. There are plans to expand into Europe following increasing demand from countries including Holland and Spain.

After years of spreading the word about the many benefits of adopting a raw and living food lifestyle, Andrew and Angela Davis, are finally starting to experience a change in the way consumers and retailers view raw food. “The tide is slowly starting to turn for raw and living food products. We launched two variants of Gourmet Raw Brownies (Celestial Cacao and Cocobanana) and three varieties of Flackers* (Salsa, Jive and Sunshine) in the UK at the end of 2009. We’re now looking forward to the next phase of new product development, which will see the Oracle bar going nationwide and the introduction of the Global Harmony range.”

Interest from retailers is growing steadily with recent listings in Planet Organic and As Nature Intended. The new products are expected to fuel further interest in convenient, healthy snack bars that are packed with natural energy.

Made to order, none of the products are heated above 40.5°C, making them suitable for people living a raw food lifestyle. They are the ideal size to carry in your handbag or coat pocket and perfect for anyone looking for an organic and healthy snack on the go.

Gourmet Raw products are free from refined sugars, artificial colours, preservatives and flavours. They are all suitable for vegetarians and vegans; the packaging 100% recycled and the labels use vegetable-based inks.

“We have some gorgeous and unique photos thanks to Kirlean photography technique that has enabled us to capture the energy being put out by our Brownie bar. If it was a cooked bar there would be no purple – the food is dead and contains no natural energy. All Gourmet Raw products have a natural life force as they are made with natural and living ingredients.”
Andrew Davis, managing director, Gourmet Raw
