Applying the innovation and responsiveness of Oxygen8’s Mobile Platform, Oxygen8 has met the immediate set-up requirements of the Band Aid 30 team, offering music fans in the UK a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the special guest at the recording of Do They Know It’s Christmas on Saturday November 15th.

By texting AID to 88833, each entrant will be charged £1.50 and will automatically be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize. Sir Bob Geldof has confirmed the likes of One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, Emeli Sande, Elbow, Disclosure, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and U2’s Bono, will be in attendance, with more artists expected to be added to the stellar line-up.

Oxygen8’s Mobile Platform can process up to 50,000 messages per minute.

The competition closes midday Thursday 13th November. The winner will be selected and contacted by Friday 14th November, and must be available on Saturday 15th November to facilitate the prize.

Do They Know It’s Christmas will go on sale on Monday November 17th, downloads will cost £0.99 and CDs £4.00.
