Immerse Learning has won the silver award for Best Learning Game, Simulation or Virtual Environment at the 2014 E-Learning Awards Gala on Thursday 6 November. The E-Learning Awards celebrated their 10th anniversary this year with their highest ever number of applicants for the awards.

The nominees were assessed by a panel of leading E-Learning experts on their innovation, contribution to learner engagement and whether they provided a more effective learning experience than traditional approaches.

This is the first time that Immerse Learning has entered the prestigious awards, having only launched its new 3D immersive learning platform in February this year.

Tom Symonds, CEO of Immerse Learning, commented:

“We are delighted that our platform has won an award so early on and look forward to improving on this success with future development of the product. This is an exciting time for Immerse Learning and we are proud to be at the forefront of innovation in the sector.”

Immerse Learning was also shortlisted in the Most Innovative New Learning Product category and has recently been named as an EdTech 20 finalist, an award given to the 20 most innovative and fastest growing edtech companies in Europe. The entries were judged by an industry-leading panel in terms of innovation, scale, market impact and revenue growth over the last year.
