Officers were called to two incidents at the Five Star Car Wash in Liverpool after a customer became aggressive towards staff. Police are currently utilising the business CCTV from the car wash where a worker was attacked. The management at The Five Star Car Wash claimed that a man complained after his Range Rover Sport was cleaned. The individual became abusive and headbutted a member of staff, which was captured on CCTV cameras at around 2pm on December 23. Police arrived at the scene and took the registration of the black car and a white Peugeot van that has also been put in to be cleaned. However, management said that not long after the officers left the site, the individual returned with three other men. The captured CCTV footage shows two gang members assaulting the worker as he tries to hide and escape. Police describe the attack as ‘unprovoked’ and are now analysing the footage of both incidents in order to ascertain exactly how the fights started and what crimes were committed. The car wash owner claimed the argument started after the customer demanded his boot be cleaned, even though the boot was full of belongings. Despite being repeatedly punched in the face, the worker was fortunately unharmed. As experts in business security, AlertSystems take a keen interest in relevant industry news.
