The Pentecostal Credit Union will start to deliver regular Money Talks in partnership with the Church Credit Champions Network over the coming months

The Pentecostal Credit Union is pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership with the Church Credit Champions Network (CCCN), part of the Centre for Theology and Community.

The Church Credit Champions Network promotes local sources of affordable credit and exists to help churches engage in the issues of money and debt in their community. Its main aim is to create a network of people who will bring together churches, communities and responsible lenders.

The CCCN’s innovative initiative the Money Talk programme, is going to be actively promoted by the Pentecostal Credit Union and delivered within local Pentecostal churches.

The Money Talk programme has been set up by CCCN to allow churches and financial institutions to involve their members on the topic of money, in particular (but not exclusively) from the Christian perspective of borrowing and saving.

The programme looks to make a positive change by helping identify the most pressing financial issues faced by people and then building a team who can work together to address these challenges.

In particular the Pentecostal Credit Union will use the Money Talk programme to actively engage with a young members within Pentecostal churches.

“We are very keen to promote the Credit Union to a younger audience and see our work with the Church Credit Champions Network as a great opportunity to do this, as well as also promote better community finance within the Pentecostal faith” commented Leslie Laniyan, Chair.

The Pentecostal Credit Union will start to deliver regular Money Talks in partnership with the Church Credit Champions Network over the coming months.

Since 1980 the Pentecostal Credit Union has provided an ethical and trustworthy alternative to High Street financial organisations. The organisation provides a safe and convenient place to save and specialises in making loans to members at affordable rates.

Membership is open to any individual, family member, church group or business that practices the Pentecostal faith.
