Temporary court markings for sports halls available in a range of colours Thursday 30 April 2015 PDF Print Suitable for match play as well as day to day coaching, they allow different court configurations to be quickly set up. Temporary line markings for sports hall floors are now available from The SFS Manufacturing Group in a range of colours. The silicone rubber strips are available in the standard orange or white, or can be produced in other colours to suit different colour courts. Suitable for match play as well as day to day coaching, they allow different court configurations to be quickly set up. There is no need for sunken or temporary court anchors, thus avoiding trip hazards, court modifications and expensive consumables. The special grade of silicone rubber developed by SFS is UV stable, and does not age or fade over time. Its high tack finish, weight and grooved profile ensure the lines stay flat on the court surface, remaining in position even when run on by the players. "This performance is in contrast with lines made from other materials, which can need frequent repositioning," said SFS director John Soanes. The SFS line sets, which were originally developed following a request from the Lawn Tennis Association, can be pre-printed with guide marks to help in setting up the court quickly. They are suitable for a wide range of sports, including tennis, badminton and volleyball. Although the lines are best suited for indoor courts, they can also be used outdoors on grass and artificial turf, where their weight ensures they stay in position even in windy conditions. For ease of transport, the easy to clean kits are supplied in buckets, which can also be used to wash them in. Alternatively they are machine washable. -ends- Image caption Temporary line markings for sports hall floors are now available from The SFS Manufacturing Group in a range of colours.
