Free PR for MBA social initiative: The BlueSky Education competition Friday 1 May 2015 PDF Print BlueSky Education, the international PR specialist for higher and business education, has developed a new initiative to provide pro bono PR support to a student ‘give something back’ project. Any business school student - undergraduate, masters or MBA - can submit an entry. BlueSky Education is looking for an imaginative, but robust project designed to improve the lives of disadvantaged people anywhere around the globe. It could be a social enterprise, an educational programme or a humanitarian undertaking. To take part, individuals or teams of students will need to submit a 500 words brief of their project by Friday 28th May, through the BlueSky Education website http://bluesky-pr.net/prcompetition The winner will get a free day and a half of PR consultancy per month, for a period of six months, during which they will be provided with strategic communications advice and have coverage secured for them in international media, to help make the venture as effective as possible. The winner will be announced on http://bluesky-pr.net/prcompetition on Friday 5th June 2015. Ian Hawkings, head of practice, says: “Having worked with business schools the world over, one thing we have learned is that their students often come up with some of the most interesting and innovative ideas to help others in society. From the MBA student who set up a fashion business to help struggling communities in the wake of the Haitian earthquake in 2010, through to the Masters in Management student working to reduce snake bite deaths in Sub-Saharan Africa, we’ve had the privilege of working with a number of exciting projects over the years. The idea for the competition came about because we know there are hundreds of great social projects being initiated every year – but that many will get very little attention outside of their immediate communities. We hope to change that and look forward to helping a worthy project get as much press as possible this year!” For more information, or to speak to Ian, please contact Alexandra Dobocan at firstname.lastname@example.org or call +44 (0)1582 790 709 This press release was distributed by ResponseSource Press Release Wire on behalf of BlueSky Education in the following categories: Education & Human Resources, for more information visit http://pressreleasewire.responsesource.com/about.
