TRP Sealing Systems Increase Capacity Friday 8 May 2015 PDF Print TRP Sealing Systems is pleased to announce its £200,000 investment in new a CNC machine for mould tool manufacture. The bridge type machining centre will have a 4.06 * 2.05 metre bed with a maximum load weight of 15,000 kgs. Controlled by Fanuc control system, the machine is fitted with a 15,000 rpm direct drive spindle and multiple tool changer. The CNC machine has been manufactured, and released following inspection at the manufacturer’s site and now en-route to TRP. Simon Children, Managing Director, commented "We have already recruited an additional tooling engineer and have installed and begun training on the latest Declaim software. Following commissioning we plan to start using the new equipment from June." He went on "whilst I am sure we will continue to make use of the excellent service received from our current mould tooling suppliers, our investment in internal capacity will further strengthen our ability to service our supply chain, ensure greater flexibility and improved responsiveness." In addition to its investment in the new machining centre and software TRP Sealing Systems has re-housed its entire tool-room to a newly refurbished building containing the all of the ancillary equipment necessary for handling such large tools.
