All new Mitsubishi models will now come with a five-year warranty as standard

All new Mitsubishi models will now come with a five-year warranty as standard, with the offer covering all passenger and commercial vehicles. The manufacturer is also offering all new models with three-year pan-European roadside assistance, which has been called MAP (Mitsubishi Assistance Package).

The mileage is limited to 62,500 miles, so it’s a case of which comes first before the warranty is void. The mileage limit applies to all models except the L200, which comes with five years or 125,000 miles warranty. As with all warranties there are several terms and conditions, so it’s worth checking up on these before making a purchase decision.

“The move to a 5-year warranty is a reflection of Mitsubishi’s confidence in the unrivalled quality and reliability of our product,” said managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK Lance Bradley. “It is especially significant when you consider the hard working nature of some of our vehicles, such as Shogun, and leading edge ultra-low emission technologies in the Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.”
