Steve Tonkin, Director and Chief Chainsaw Officer at Truncator on site at the Bath Showgrounds said, “Industry recognition for Truncator has been tremendous since its launch in 2013 but nothing beats seeing it action. As anyone who has made logs themselves knows 60 logs in 60 seconds sounds like an impossible task. But based on the team’s training so far I am confident we’ll convince even the most skeptical. I am looking forward to rising to the 60:60 Chainsaw challenge.”

Third party comment:
Spokesperson Charlie Thomas for CLA Game Fair Marketing and PR Manager said, "The Truncator won due to the simplicity of the invention and the positive impact it will have on the countryside and those that work within it. It can be used from a large estate to a private residence and considerably reduce time, mess and manual labour in the maintenance of woodland.”

Adel: “It’s great, I no longer have to hold the wood, as Ken saws.”

Ken: « I don’t need Adel helping me anymore, and I get a lot more done without her. Much easier, safer and I can cut up anything in half the time.”

Adel and Ken – Gamekeeper and wife - Heverham

“I saw the Truncator on Dragon's Den and immediately thought what a good idea it is for the likes of me - middle aged professional (a surgeon actually) who occasionally uses a chainsaw in my garden. Cutting small logs was always fraught with serious danger because they would jump and move or you would put it on the ground and the chain saw blade would cut into the ground. The Truncator has changed all that. Suddenly using my chainsaw is a joy rather than a near death experience. I specifically set the cups at 10 inches for my wood burning stove. It now takes minutes to cut logs to the right size.

It confirms that the Dragons are not entrepreneurs at all but just cows following a herd. If I had the money I would have invested - don't understand why B&Q don't stock it myself!”

Mr Suren – Surgeon
