With Newcastle United’s final Premier League game this season on 24th of May, it is expected that the club will officially reveal the new strip soon.

Newcastle United’s new home kit has been revealed online by JD Sports, despite the fact that the club is yet to officially announce the kits for the 2015-16 season. A spokesperson for Team Colours responds to the news.

@NUFC, the official Newcastle United FC Twitter handle, has teased The Magpies’ new home kit online. The 13 second teaser video comes several weeks after the home, away and training kits were leaked on the internet. Despite the fact that Newcastle United is yet to officially reveal the new strip to the public, JD Sports has already posted pictures online in order to advertise the product which is priced at £50 for adults.

With Newcastle United’s final Premier League game this season on 24th of May, it is expected that the club will officially reveal the new strip soon. The strip is reminiscent of the 1999-2001 design which fans will remember fondly. The shirt features the traditional black and white vertical stripes but with a blue trim; the black stripes have blue tidal slashes across the bottom which grow narrower as they stack up the shirt. Interestingly the images of the away shirt and training strip which were leaked several weeks ago have not appeared on the JD Sports website. Likewise the pictures for the Infants Home Kit have not been posted on JD Sports’ site, with the retailer opting instead for placeholder images.
