The awards have been created to celebrate excellence in travel media, journalism, broadcasting and photography in both consumer and trade media, and will be judged by senior travel industry figures alongside some of the UK's leading travel writers. There are up to 20 categories open to all travel writers, broadcasters and photographers, making the event a true barometer of the travel media sector. Work submitted must have been published in the UK in print or online, or if broadcast, aired on television, radio or online during the year 1 May 2014 to the 1 May 2015.
