GLASGOW: The long wait for the West End’s hotly anticipated Caffè Parma is over. The restaurant will open its doors for business on Saturday 24 October.

Caffè Parma will offer authentic Northern Italian dining in the most stunning of settings. It’s bespoke glass structure and outdoor decking area are surrounded by the rich green tennis pitches of the Western Tennis and Racquets Club, reflected in the interior décor which embraces the fresh nature of the external surroundings.

Parma, the unofficial food capital of Italy, provides the inspiration for the menus and for the ethos of Caffè Parma, which draws on the Northern Italian culture of community and sharing. The signature dishes – sharing platters and cicchetti dishes reflect this philosophy but the infamous Paperino’s pizza and pasta dishes will also be available.

“Finally after a long and, at times, bumpy road, we’re delighted to open Caffè Parma. It really is a one of a kind restaurant in an unbelievable setting – something most people can only dream about,” says owner Stefano.

“To be given the opportunity to make it a reality is incredible. We’re finally there. All to do now is get the doors open and work to ensure Caffè Parma can try and create the same ambience and delicious food that Paperino’s has given Glasgow diners since 1991.”
