Epilepsy Society and The Goodwill Partnership team up to offer Will-writing services Tuesday 10 November 2015 PDF Print By teaming up with the Goodwill Partnership, Epilepsy Society is now able to offer its volunteers, supporters and members a Will-writing service The UK’s leading Will-writing service for charities’ donors, The Goodwill Partnership, has partnered with Epilepsy Society. Epilepsy Society is the UK’s leading provider of epilepsy services. Using cutting edge research, awareness campaigns, information resources and expert care, the charity works for everyone affected by epilepsy in the UK (approximately half a million people). With headquarters in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, Epilepsy Society is also one of the UK’s oldest charities having been founded in 1892 by a group of London philanthropists and medical professionals. It is currently the only UK epilepsy charity to deliver a full programme of medical research into the condition. By teaming up with the Goodwill Partnership, Epilepsy Society is now able to offer its volunteers, supporters and members a Will-writing service which allows people to leave a legacy if they so wish, although this isn’t obligatory. The Goodwill Partnership will also provide Epilepsy Society with a monthly report of legacy donations made, as well as the monetary value of each donation if permitted by the donor. This will allow the charity to plan ahead with a bit more financial certainty with regards to legacy income. Laura Larrett, Donor Care & Direct Marketing Manager of Epilepsy Society, says: “Legacies make up an important part of any charity’s income, and Epilepsy Society is no exception. We are delighted to partner with the Goodwill Partnership and we hope that in doing so, we can increase the amount of bequests as well as offer our members and supporters an important Will-writing service.” Mark Jackson, Co-Founder of The Goodwill Partnership, says: “We are pleased to team up with Epilepsy Society and hope that our service proves to be another invaluable source of income for their vital services and research.” -Ends- For further information please contact the press office on 07931 381209 or email firstname.lastname@example.org About The Goodwill Partnership The Goodwill Partnership was launched in 2009 to offer low-cost, home-visit Will-writing services for charities’ donors.
