The event was attended by the UK’s top travel media, with 20 publications, broadcasters, journalists and photographers each collecting a prestigious award. Matthew Jackson, managing director of APL Media, said, “The Travel Media Awards have been a huge success with an exceptionally high standard of entries. Our judges had some difficult decisions to make and we’d like to congratulate all the winners and entrants. A panel of over 50 travel industry and media experts then narrowed the field down to a shortlist of four or five in each category before selecting the winners.
