WAE Appoints Director Thursday 26 November 2015 PDF Print • Moshe Braun is a specialist in developing teams, commercial strategies, product propositions and productisation of services • WAE’s leadership team is now complete and ready to take the market by storm in 2016 26th November 2015 – WAE, a global service design consultancy, today announced the appointment of Moshe Braun who joins as director. Moshe joins the senior leadership team, heading up business development and working with CEO, Chris Averill to meet ambitious plans for 2016 and beyond. Moshe’s appointment is the final appointment to the senior leadership team, providing the strategic direction and support that will spring board the company forward in 2016. Commenting on his new role, Moshe said: “I take a rather unusual approach to business development. I help businesses shape and tell their stories, and for me this isn’t about lead generation or prospecting, it’s about making sure that WAE is right from within.” Moshe brings with him a compelling mix of experience and skills having worked as a designer, product developer, project manager, digital strategist, and has strong entrepreneurial outlook. In 2010 he worked with Byng, a software engineering consultancy to design, develop and market new digital products and services. Moshe is keen to bring these experiences to bare at WAE and define an entrepreneurial culture at the heart of the business. Moshe adds: ”I see business development as cultural challenge rather than just a function. It’s about ensuring that every employee feels they have a voice and a responsibility to shape the future of the business. It is an extremely competitive world out there and retention of talent is a top priority for WAE. The leadership team has big ambitions and that means we have to maintain an amazing work environment and culture that our staff feel passionate about.” Prior to joining WAE, Moshe worked in senior business development and marketing roles for agencies such as Realise, POKE, BAMM, Byng and iProfile as well as being Head of Digital for NICE TV. Significant accounts that he has helped to win include Heathrow Airport, Rothschild, BBC and Electronic Arts to name but a few. Chris Averill, CEO, WAE comments: “I see Moshe as the final piece of WAEs leadership team. We now have a really experienced and energised team to lead change in the market. We are keen to better define our propositions and develop our internal culture, especially as we move into new markets and with Moshe on board we now have the focus and discipline to do this.
