Healthlogistics awarded GCloud status

Healthlogistics is delighted that their eProcurement and hTrak procedure level costing services have been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 7 Framework, under Lot 3 Software as a Service (SaaS).

Developed specifically for NHS hospital Trusts, Healthlogistics’ services comprise catalogue management (eCat), inventory management linked to accurate procedure level costing (hTrak) and a PEPPOL-compliant ordering and invoicing service. In addition NHS procurement and finance departments can analyse their spend of consumables and medical devices using eControl, Healthlogistics' business analytics platform.

The hTrak procedure level costing service, used extensively in Australia and more recently in the UK at acute Trusts such as Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, had been available on a previous GCloud framework, and has since been incorporated within Healthlogistics’ portfolio of services to deliver savings and process improvements to acute Trusts.

Asked about the benefit of the framework for its NHS customers, Gary Adams, Commercial Director of Healthlogistics states ‘ Clinical Directors, Heads of Procurement and Directors of Finance in hospital Trusts can now simply, through the Digital Marketplace, use the framework call off agreement for setting up their contracts with us, rather than undertake an often lengthy tender process. We believe that this additional route to market will enable us to accelerate the use of our services in the next few years, enabling Trusts to manage their non-pay spend and procedure costs more effectively.’
