The new mobile phone app will let customers buy tickets for travel direct from their smartphone. The new app – called ‘Oxford Tube mobile tickets’ – will make travel easier by offering passengers mobile ticketing for the first time. Thanks to a raft of high profile partnerships secured by Corethree customers can pay for travel on the app using Apple Pay, PayPal or credit or debit card. A range of Oxford Tube tickets are available through the new app including single, same day return, period return, a seven day period pass, 12-trip ticket and nightrider ticket. Once products have been purchased they are stored on the customer’s phone and can be activated without access to the Internet.
